New York based Asset Management firm is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team.

Primary responsibilities of this position is as follows:
- Work on Month End close
- Prepare consolidated Financial statements and Management reports.
- Review analyses, all work papers and subsidiaries’ Financial statements.
- Work closely with the External Auditors
- Review Banking Subsidiaries’ financials 
- Prepare various ad-hoc analyses and projections.
- Be the point person for Accounting Policy/Procedures, i.e. new FASB’s/GAAP pronouncements, including documentation
- Supervise the Accounting team.

Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller from a small to mid sized Financial Services company with a CPA (required).
